Ireland Weller Property Consulting – Who We Are

Founded as an estate agency in 1980, by Michael Weller in Salcombe, the business was acquired by Andrew Ireland, a commercial surveyor in 1997. The surveying practice quickly grew alongside the sales department, which was sold in 2008.

Andrew Ireland, the firm’s principle, is a true all-rounder, having studied Agricultural science at first degree level, and then Land Management at Reading University, researching property values and the effects of inflation which lead to a post graduate degree.

After admission to the RICS in 1992, Andrew joined Chesterton in Birmingham and saw commercial practice in the Valuation and Rating departments. Moving to the residential sector in 1994, Andrew has managed a multidisciplinary based practice ever since. In terms of geographical coverage, the firm covers the West Country, but in particular Taunton and South Devon to include Salcombe, where the business was founded, as well as having a Marble Arch Office covering Kensington and Nottinghill.
